Here are two videos that illustrate the potential in local search available to small businesses in my area. In both videos I show niches which have a good number of searches and plenty of opportunity to leverage social media and Web 2.0 to steal some of this traffic.
If you are in a service business such as flooring, plumbing or design, it would only take a couple of new customers each month to open your mind to the potential in local optimized search-engine friendly blogs with social media.
